In order to gain a suitable scale characteristic of the buildings in Nowy Sącz, a clear separation of both object is suggested with a functional glass lacing.
An entrance square, open towards Kościuszki St., comprised by the development of the existing and designed object, is coming into existence.
Entrances lead from the courtyard to all the principal elements of the functions of the objects.
The design consists of two wings. The western wing has a gallery of contemporary art, exposition rooms, administration rooms and a conference room. The southern wing has an auditorium, a café with a bar, three joinable educational rooms for 50 people.
The southern wing is functionally connected with the MCK "Falcon" building which has sanitary complexes, a cloakroom for the auditorium and backup facilities for the lecturers in the educational rooms.
The cellars under the designed building, the car park and the existing underground edifice will have storerooms, technical rooms as well as backup facilities for the auditorium and social backup facilities for the gallery employees.
Above the educational rooms, there is a terrace with greenery accessible from the eastern wing staircase of MCK "Falcon".
